How to Build Real Influence With LinkedIn Decision-Makers

    Let's cut the fluff.

If you want to build real influence with top LinkedIn decision-makers - you don't do it by cold-pitching your resume.

You do it by showing up with value first.

Here's what actually works when you're trying to open doors that lead to six-figure opportunities:

Start with insight. Share something useful. Industry news. A sharp take. A question worth answering. This sparks real conversations.

Engage before you ask. Comment thoughtfully. React with intention. Show you're paying attention - not just there to network.

Be memorable, not transactional. Skip the "Hope this finds you well" intros. Try: I saw your take on XYZ and it really shifted how I see this because...

Don't lead with favors. Relationships are like gardens. You plant seeds. You water them. And eventually, something grows. But you don't yank it out of the dirt on day one. You cannot harvest crops from a field you never sowed.

Stay visible. Show up daily - even with a quick post or share. The more consistent you are, the more familiar your name becomes. And familiar names are the ones that get remembered when roles open up.

This is how my clients tap into the hidden job market.

It's not about begging for attention - it's about building brand authority with the people who matter.
