    Someone sent me that note recently.

    Listen - I want you to hear me, because this is fixable.

    Interviews mean your resume works. ☑️ You are clearing the first hurdle.

    So this is not a qualification problem. You appear to be qualified. The interviews prove it.

    It's a conversion problem.

    Somewhere between "we'd love to chat" and "we went with someone else," the room stops seeing you as the obvious choice.

    Here's what most people do. They go back and add more.

    More skills to the resume. More certifications. More applications.

    Go back to school to become a doctor.

    They try to fix the part that was already working.

    Diagnose it correctly instead -

    Not getting interviews? That's a resume problem. Not getting offers? That's an interview problem. Not getting recruiter outreach? You're not yet perceived as highly valuable.

    You're in the second one.

    And nobody gets hired for being the most qualified person in the room. They get hired because they were the one the room wanted.

    That gap between "qualified" and "we'd like to make you an offer" is the entire game.
