Stop Broadcasting Your Pain. Start Broadcasting Your Value.

Job Seekers: Ever seen a post that just says "I just lost my job and let me know if you're hiring" and cringed a little?

Let's be real... being laid off sucks.

And LinkedIn's algorithm whispers, "Say something emotional. Get the sympathy likes."

But here's the truth: desperation doesn't get you hired.

    Positioning does.

Instead of telling people you lost your job, show them what you bring to the table.

    ✅ Lead with your expertise
✅ Show the value you've delivered
✅ Be specific about what you're looking for and why you're the right person to solve it

You don't need sympathy. You need strategy.

The people who get hired quickly after a layoff aren't the ones posting "thoughts and prayers" status updates.

    They're the ones who are:

    • Reaching out to their warm network directly
    • Positioning themselves as a solution to a problem
    • Showing up with clarity about what they do and who they do it for

Stop broadcasting your pain. Start broadcasting your value.
